I AM FINALLY BACK INITIATES! After a long week of stressing over SAT studying, taking care of my sisters, and going dress shopping for prom, I am finally back and  I have sure as hell missed so much to update on. So here goes EVERYTHING:

The Divergent Series: Allegiant Official TV Spot- “Every Battle”

As the news of Robert leaving the franchise rose, the new director taking his place has arisen as well. In an exclusive article from The Hollywood Reporter, it was announced that Lee Toland Kriger would be taking his place in the filming of Ascendant.

Krieger wrote and directed The Vicious Kind, which premiered at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival and earned him an Independent Spirit Award nomination for best screenplay. He then directed Celeste and Jesse Forever, based on a script written by Rashida Jones and Will McCormack, which starred Jones and Andy Samberg. That movie also premiered at Sundance.

OFFICIAL Allegiant Trailer- Go Beyond The Wall + POSTERS + GIFS + SCRENCAPS

The anticipation for the second Allegiant Official Trailer has finally drowned. The Divergent officials on Instagram, Tumblr, and Facebook made an announcement November 5th that we would be getting something new today, November 12th. Bill Collage, the new screenwriter for Allegiant made an official confirmation that a trailer was being released:

Yesterday morning, the TODAY Show via Twitter surprised the fandom with a teaser, six second snippet for the official trailer. PEOPLE Magazine also released the two new IMAX Trapped Tris & Four Posters.

Allegiant Part 1 filming has made its way to the “High Museum Of Art” in Atlanta, Georgia. Atlanta Filming on Twitter, made a short announcement two days ago about Allegiant Part 1 about the location in the musuem. Yesterday afternoon, we got many set photos sent or posted by the fans who where very lucky to get a glimpse of the filming of the movie. New cast photos have been released of the cast members on the Allegiant Part 1 filming set in Atlanta, Georgia last week! After so much time waiting for the first photo of Shailene’s blonde bob, we finally got some great photos and caps. The photos where released by E News but the majority where released a day after by JustJared. We finally get a look of Shailene Woodley, Ansel Elgort, Zoe Kravitz, Keiynan Lonsdale, and Octavia Spencer. Still no sign of Mr. James and we are wondering where this mysterious man could be… Check out the gallery down below:

Allegiant Part 1 Starts Filming in Atlanta

Originally we thought that Allegiant Part 1 began filming this past Monday, May 18th, but Lionsgate has just sent a press release that the movie began filming today, May 20th. Read below for the Lionsgate statement:

PRODUCTION ON ALLEGIANT – PART 1, THE THIRD INSTALLMENT OF THE DIVERGENT FRANCHISE, COMMENCES TODAY

Santa Monica, CA – May 20, 2015 – Lionsgate (NYSE: LGF) announced today that principal photography has commenced in Atlanta on the feature film adaptation of THE DIVERGENT SERIES: ALLEGIANT – PART 1, the third installment of the blockbuster DIVERGENT action adventure franchise, starring Golden Globe® nominated Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Academy Award® winner Octavia Spencer, and Academy Award® nominated Naomi Watts. Golden Globe® nominated Jeff Daniels joins the cast. Returning cast members include Ray Stevenson, Zoë Kravitz, Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, Maggie Q, Keiynan Lonsdale and Jonny Weston, as well as Mekhi Phifer and Daniel Dae Kim. Other new cast members also include Nadia Hilker and Bill Skarsgård. Based on author Veronica Roth’s New York Times best seller, the film is being directed by Robert Schwentke from a screenplay by Noah Oppenheim and Adam Cooper & Bill Collage and Stephen Chbosky. Douglas Wick and Lucy Fisher are producing the film through their Red Wagon Entertainment banner along with Pouya Shahbazian. Todd Lieberman and David Hoberman are executive producing through their Mandeville Films banner along with Barry Waldman and Neil Burger. Lionsgate will release ALLEGIANT – PART 1 theatrically in North America through its Summit Entertainment label on Friday, March 18, 2016.

After the earth-shattering revelations of INSURGENT, in Allegiant Part 1 Tris (Shailene Woodley) must escape with Four (Theo James) beyond the Wall that encircles Chicago to finally discover the shocking truth of what lies behind it.

The Divergent series of books were written by Veronica Roth and have been perennial New York Times best-sellers since 2011. Book sales of the “Divergent” trilogy have surged to over 34 million copies worldwide, up from 17 million at the time of DIVERGENT’s March 21, 2014 release. Allegiant sold 455,000 copies on its first day of release in 2013 to break a company record for Katherine Tegen Books/HarperCollins Publishers. Pre-orders for Allegiant exceeded those of any book in the history of HarperCollins. The first two DIVERGENT films have grossed more than $550 million at the global box office and are Lionsgate’s highest-grossing films domestically outside THE HUNGER GAMES and TWILIGHT franchises. The fourth installment in the series, ALLEGIANT – PART 2, is slated for release on March 24, 2017. Erik Feig, Co-President of Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, Gillian Bohrer, Lionsgate’s EVP of Production & Development, and Matt Janzen, Lionsgate’s VP, Production & Development, are overseeing the project for the studio.
